10th Annual Autism Ribbon Run

The 10th Annual Autism Ribbon Run benefits the programs and services provided by the Autism Society of North Carolina. 

The Ribbon Run includes a 5K Run/Walk, 1-Mile Fun Run, and Tot Trot. The 5K Run/Walk is USATF certified and begins at 9:00am. The 1-Mile Fun Run and Tot Trot will follow.

Associated Street Closures:
The streets associated with the 5K Race Course outlined below will be closed:

The runners will assemble in the 200 block of S. Blount Street (between Hargett and Martin Streets). At 9 am the runners will proceed north on Blount Street to Mulberry Street, proceed east on Mulberry Street to Courtland Drive, proceed south on Courtland Drive to Mordecai Drive, continue south on Mordecai Drive to Person Street, continue south on Person Street to the finish area in the 200 block of S. Person Street (between Hargett and Martin Streets).

The streets associated with the 1 Mile Fun Run Course below will be closed:

The runners will assemble in the 200 block of S. Blount Street (between Hargett and Martin Streets). At 9:40 am the runners will proceed north on Blount Street to North Street, east on North Street to Person Street, south on Person Street to the finish area in the 200 block of S. Person Street (between Hargett and Martin Streets).

The following streets will also be closed:

S. Person Street (between Hargett and Davie Streets) will be closed from 7 am-12 noon.

E. Martin Street (between Blount and Person Streets) will be closed from 8 am-12 noon.

The two left hand travel lanes in the 200 block of S. Blount Street (between Hargett and Martin Streets) will be closed from 7 am-8:30 am at which time the entire block will be closed until the conclusion of the event.
