2017 PNC presents Wide Open Bluegrass

Wide Open Bluegrass has a ticketed Main Stage at Red Hat Amphitheater, with part of the proceeds benefiting the Bluegrass Trust Fund, and a FREE StreetFest with music in downtown Raleigh on five stages and a dance tent, free activities, stages, a music expo inside the Raleigh Convention Center, and much more! The North Carolina Whole Hog Barbecue Championship will once again add a distinctly NC flavor to this event. Plus, there will be plenty of other mouth-watering food and drinks to keep you going as long as the music is playing. While you’re at the festival, make sure to check out the juried artists in Artsplosure’s Arts Market area, the Got to Be NC products, the best jamming imaginable, Sir Walter’s Banjostand, and more!

Fayetteville Street between Morgan Street and Lenoir Street

Hargett Street between Salisbury Street and Fayetteville Street

Martin Street, Davie Street, Lenoir Street, and South Street between Salisbury Street and Wilmington Street

Cabarrus Street between McDowell Street and Salisbury Street

Gale Street between Cabarrus Street and the south entrance to the parking deck

Lenoir Street between Dawson Street and McDowell Street.

South Street between Salisbury Street and Wilmington Street will be closed from 6:00am on 9-29-17 until 7:00am on 10-1-17.

Market Plaza, Exchange Plaza, and the Astroturf will also be utilized during this time. Note: Marriott traffic will have access to the 500 block of Fayetteville Street.
