The nOg Run Club, creators of the fairly epic St. Paddy’s 8K, invite you to join us for the sixth running of the Oktoberfest 8K. Don your lederhosen for a day of running and friendly fun in downtown Raleigh. Every registered runner will receive a polyblend shirt, craft beer (21+), finishers medal, and an after party chock full of good music and great times!

Every runner will receive:

  • – Gender specific polyblend shirt (Not guaranteed shirt after 10/5/17)

  • – Bond Brother Beer to all finishers

  • – Finishers medal

  • – After party with live music and games

Associated Street Closures:

October 14, 2017:

West Street between Peace Street and Johnson Street and Johnson Street between Glenwood Avenue and West Street will be closed from 8:00am until 1:00pm.

The following roads will be closed from 10:20am until 12:00pm to facilitate the 8K route:

- Start at intersection of Johnson Street and West Street

- Head south and turn right onto North Street

- Right onto St. Mary's Street

- Right onto Nichols Drive

- Right onto Washington Street and continue the loop around Washington Street until back at Nichols Drive

- Left onto St. Mary's Street

- Right onto Johnson Street

- Left onto East Forest Drive

- Loop back around to Forest Drive

- Left onto Park Drive

- Left onto Groveland Avenue

- Left onto Benehan Street

- Left onto Hillcrest Road

- Right onto Park Drive

- Right onto West Park Drive and loop around to East Park Drive

- Right onto Park Drive

- Right onto St. Mary's Street

- Left onto North Street

- Left onto West Street to Finish

Note: Local traffic will have access to the Hampton Inn & Suites parking deck on Johnson Street.
